Soluna ( NASDAQ: SLNH ) said Wednesday it bought 8.25K Bitmain Antminer S19s, S19j Pro and S19j Pro+ for its 25 MW Project Dorothy 1B data center in Texas . The acquisition is expected to result in 860 PH/s of hashrate, with an average efficiency of 29.9 joules per terahash (J/TH), and at a cost of $11.25 $/TH. The first five buildings (~6 MW) in the project are set to be energized by the end of June. The rest will be completed and energized in Q3. The site's run-rate revenue from mining is ~$18M annually. Project Dorothy 1B is a mining joint venture between Soluna ( SLNH ) and Navitas Global. "Our team is focused on getting Dorothy phase 1A and 1B fully operational early this summer," said Soluna ( SLNH ) CEO John Belizaire. "We've put in place strong commercial deals with great revenue potential." Earlier, Soluna ( SLNH ) installed over 14.6K bitcoin mining machines at its Texas and Kentucky sites .
